One of the ONLY things I do not see online, is how to "structure" basic Hebrew sentences. Learning how to do this with "around the house" kind of things, would really help us with learning Hebrew. I don't travel every day, nor do I stay in Hotels all of the time, but rather I am with my family the majority of the time. Can you please make a video like this? There is NO other like it, not even on mobile apps. Concerning mobile and online applications, there is no point in having a large vocabulary unless we know how structure basic sentences to include "everyday" around the house conversations. That way, we "use" the language more and more on a daily basis.

Ma Nishma, is it 1st person plural future? What we will hear? Or, is it in Nifal?
@skyvritacademy8 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Ma Nishma is simply- How are you? (Not formal) It refers to all pronouns. The word "nishma" literally means - (was) heard, and yes passive, Binyan Nif'al. :)

"ma nishma" is literally what's up or whats new, not how are you.
@Abe35153 жыл бұрын
Regarding the question: mah nishma-it is more like: How is it going...(genderless) &, It is this way because NEITHER masculine nor feminine BECAUSE it is in the grammatical form known as: the PASSIVE VOICE, which LITERALLY translates into: What is HEARD (what's the latest "news" said that you HEARD/was heard...-deriving from the Hebrew verb root: sh-m-3/ש-מ-ע - with the "number 3, representing the guttural sound of the letter Ayin/ע!) :)

Hello, I must say that I DISAGREE with the part in your presentation where you are discussing the question: "mah shlomcha/shlomha? מה שלומך" &, MISPLACING the English term: 'literally', by attaching it to the MAH (which can mean ONLY ONE THING=WHAT, as you are mentioning-& does NOT possess any FIGURATIVE meaning, too, "in addition" to & separate from your named LITERA-INSTEAD of attaching it to the word: SHALOM (SHLOMCHA/SHLOMHA) which (HERE it is where I'd say: LITERALLY means: YOUR PEACE & NOT your "feeling"-which, with some Hebrew accepny in your English, you manage to pronounce somewhat misleadingly/confusingly: as: filling...-perhaps, when dealing with ANY INSTRUCTION-but, PARTICULARLY that of a LANGUAGE, for native-accent reduction purposes-when using the English language , it'd be worth referring to the English PRONUNCIATION DIFFERENCE patterns between words with the vowel sound: i (which is equated to the Hebrew ABSENCE--of-Vowel Sheva marking under the letters-as when using the vocalization signs/marks-as opposed to those words with the sound of ee/ea! so, in sum, I'd explain that mah shlomvha/shlomha LITERALLY means: How is your peace (in the borrowed sense of): how is your well-being (which, basically means & translates into the commonly-used/known question of: how are you?). Thank you.

Winner of a video, I have been researching "spoken hebrew words" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Bonincoln Hebrew Handful - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my colleague got cool results with it.

טוב is an adj. and so unlike a noun, the gender of it is not depended on the verb. אני מרגישה טוב , is the correct form :)
