Silav mamoste. I really appreciate all the effort you put into these kind of videos! I have a video suggestion. I am learning Kurdish (Kurmanji) at the moment and I keep having this problem: how do I know when to use the 'a (feminine), ê (masculine), ên (plural)' form and when to use the 'ê (feminine), î (masculine), an (plural)' form?
@kurdishactivities75163 жыл бұрын
There is no exact rule about this. You need to learn words with their gender that will help you to figure out which one to use while making a sentence. 😇
@welatxwese80743 жыл бұрын
@@kurdishactivities7516 i don't think you understood my question mamoste. For example this news article: 'Li gorî Wezareta Tenduristiyê ya hikumeta Sûriyê ragihandiye, li herêmên di bin serweriya hikumetê de 30 kesên din bi Koronavîrusê ketin û 2 jî mirin.' For examples: the word' wezaret',it is a feminine word so why do you write 'wezareta' (a, ê, ên form) and not 'wezaretê' (ê, î, an form)? Or the word 'herêm', why do you write herêmên (the a, ê, ên form) and not 'herêman' (the ê, î, an form) ? Or the word 'kes', why do you write 'kesên' (a, ê, ên form) and not 'kesan' (ê, î, an form)? And so forth. I hope now u understood the question, mamoste. Hopefully you can explain it in depth (in a video would be perfect :')

The UndercoverMan Yeah, I got now what you mean. The situation you mentioned is called “Ezafe” in Kurdish and it is one of the challenging subject in the language. It’s actually quite easy and yet needs a lot effort to understand how it works. I will also make a special video about this subject but you can watch one of Kurdish Lessons vidéos which tells about “Ezafe”. Search in her videos you’ll find it. Please watch hers first and like and the write a comment until I make mine. 🥰😇🙏

@@kurdishactivities7516 Spas for the link mamoste, but the video is completely in Kurdish, so I did not understand much unfortunately :'( If you or anyone else could in depth explain' tewang' and 'îzafe' and how to always know which ones to use even in very long sentences, that would be much much appreciated! :') gelek spas.

Are you familiar with Q-Celtic/P-Celtic? It would seem that Kurmanji has more in common with Q-Celtic - as in 'Co as a tha thu?' Where are you from? Apart from from penc (five) which would share its roots with the Brythonic (Welsh) pump. Four 'car' seems to have remained the same, 'ceithir' in Gaidhlig, but 'pedwar' in Welsh. It seems to have occured in the same way in Hindi also.
@Kedeer4510 ай бұрын
The reason for the similarities may be the Indo-European language connection and the Celtic soldiers who came to the region where the Kurds lived in ancient times.
@shyb3510 ай бұрын
@@Kedeer45 Well, yes I see your point; perhaps also, though, in order to facilitate trade between various countries counting systems evololved in a relatively standardised way? 🙂
