Very helpful! Tack så mycket. Having the undertexter in both English and Swedish is so helpful, i have only seen one other You tuber do this. I’m surprised so few people use this technique. One thing I personally think would help is if you have the English and Swedish texts in different colors.

You're not overanalyzing; this cultural insight is useful. I would say that, in my own culture, Southern California, I hear so many people saying "no problem" in response to my "thank you" for an act of common courtesy or something that is part of their job. For example, when I thank a waiter for refilling my water glass, the waiter's "no problem" makes me think, sarcastically, "Oh, I am so relieved that my being here doesn't cause a problem for you!" Ha ha. Come to think of it, I would say that "no problem" is never a good response. Fortunately, where I live, a cheerful "you're welcome" has no negative connotation to it and needs no substitute, although your other suggested alternatives are fine too. There is a chain of fast food restuarants in the US that asks all of its employees to respond to customers with "my pleasure". Maybe it is just me but I feel that the atmosphere in those restuarants is just a little bit lighter and happier as a result!

Hej hej 👋 ☺️. Vilken bra exempelfråga. Varsågod fungerar ju egentligen alltid och i det fallet hade jag nog sagt just ”varsågod”. Om man håller upp dörren åt en främling känns ”varsågod” passande. Ju mer jag tänker på det så är det nog mer i nära relationer med vänner eller kollegor som man träffar varje dag, där det kan kännas ”mjukare” att säga ”mitt nöje” eller något liknande. 🤔☺️
