I'm brazilian ,and I'm so proud of myself , when I decided to teach myself at home, I didn't even know how to construct a sentence in English, 2 years later, I didn't even imagine that I could be here , listening to podcasts and understanding every single word that you guys are saying, thank you so much , and continue recording classes to help people like me . Edit. Guyys passing by to tell you that I'm miles ahead with English, comparing to 6 months ago when I posted this comment. I'm not saying that what i've learned about English, came from this Channel, but videos like this, made me more accurate and fluent, of course, practicing all of the English skills together helped me to become more fluent! That's my tip for y'all!

learning language during hours is super fast, I didn't learn English which is my second language. I have been just watching movies since infancy and I always could understand spoken words, but myself, I began speaking at 12 when I was making videos for my channel on KZbin. I have an accent, but it is not terrible. I think it is solution for parents who want to teach their children languages, they just have to start as early as possible

The only thing I want to say with you is please do not make your voice smaler and smaller almost at the end of sentences you have used. I cannot hear what you say at the end of your sentences. But you are still the best! Thanks for your exciting subjects you have been teaching

MMM, Lucy, Hadar, Vanessa, Marina, Alisha, Esthefany, Journey, Anna, Emma, ... Juliana Selem / Master, Maria Colombia, Miss Holly, ... I am Dorgival Dantas Brito, 49 years old, Brazilian, from São Paulo, Divorced, Musician, Singer and Composer. I started to study English, starting in March 2020, at the beginning of Social Isolation, as a result of Pandemic, I started to Study to have something concrete to occupy myself. I didn't know anything about English, except for the most basic things, even though I always liked the language, I always found it very difficult, something very distant gives my reality. However, in early 2018, I had started a Spanish Study, after winning a CD of songs in Español, and I fell in love not only with musical feathers but with the Language. I started to write some texts in Portuguese, translated in "Google Translate" and, a Bolivian neighbor read to me, and I recorded reading on my cell phone, and listened to getting sick. For some reason, I started to understand a little bit of Español. And, as I said last March, I wanted to read in English. I happened to search on KZbin and found many videos that I didn't even know existed. Where I found, too, many voices that I fell in love with. You are beautiful and you have wonderful friendships. I see videos of many people: give England, Australian, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, Jamaica, Indian, a great diversity of videos like yours. I love watching these Videos. They are Beautiful. The content, it doesn't matter, why, I don't understand! Whatever you do, I don't think I understand! This has been very frustrating for me, because, I understand little, very little of everything I hear. Although I am in love with English, I cannot learn. More and more I like what I'm discovering, but I don't understand! I see many videos of native Spanish teachers who teach English, other English natives who teach Spanish and other natives who speak both languages. I believe that I can understand 50%, 60% of the content in Español, and sometimes, with images, definitions, similar, synonymous phrases, I even understand more. But, from English, it's almost nothing. But I will not give up - it was a path of no return, that I started a Journey and I will not stop: for this reason, I am contacting all of you whom I accompany, to help me with whatever is possible. I need help. I really need help. No further. Sincerely, Dorgival Dantas Brito São Paulo Brazil Whats +55 119 8440 1866 ============================== MMM, Lucy, Hadar, Vanessa, Marina, Alisha, Esthefany, Journey, Anna, Emma, ... Haha I used to do the tapping on the roof of the car in South Africa many years ago. I had actually forgotten about it until today. Only the driver used to do it going thru speed traps or amber/red traffic lights to protect the occupants of the car while the driver was basically breaking the law. Interesting channel thanks :) First time Ive watched it :) Many of the things you both talk about are common habits of mine too, so it was very entertaining seeing how much more us Saffas have in common with you Mericans on the other side of the pond. Great fun thanks again.

I think it's a good exercise for those who actually begin to learn english as well, 'cause by listening to native speakers you get a feeling for the language, even If you don't understand everything. In terms of myself, I've been learning english for almost six years now and I can state that I understand anything both they say, (Honestly, they have a really clean and clear pronunciation) however it's still a great practice for me. Btw I'm a native german speaker

I'm Korean and I recently found it so hard to keep my english level because languages degrade the moment you stop using it right? Also I'm in South Korea so it's tricky to make a new english speaking friend who can help with this. And FINALLY!! I found this channel that would remind me of the phrases I almost forgot. It's been only 8 minutes since I brang my foot into this channel and I've already subscirbed to it and fallen in love with it.

Hello, you don't need necessarily a native, just a person of your environment with a high level in the idiom. Instead you can record you imitating a two conversation that you could have with other. You have to work with the resources that you have. Luck

Yep, you're right on this one, but there is a reason for that. In past you, "Americans", used to deal only with Europeans, hence it's natural to call themselves The Americans back then... but now the whole world can't deny the importance of the others Americans, like South, Central and North Americans like Canadians! Speaking of Canadians, i live in Ottawa and I've noticed that all around Canada they call the USA as "The States" and never, ever, as America or Noth America or USA... only States!!! Things are changing, and you had better make up your mind and open up your "umbilical view"
