Hi, Laura and Bez. I did a collaboration with another British English teacher recently and one of the topics was phrases verbs that are different in American and British English. Would you guys be interested in a similar-style collaboration?

What is the difference between go on and go ahead? If I interrupt someone and want to say: continue is better to use go on or go ahead?
@smashingenglishАй бұрын
Hey! That’s a great question. In the context of interrupting someone, ‘go on’ would be better as it usually means ‘continue’. ‘Go ahead’ can also be used in this context, but usually we don’t use it to mean ‘continue’, we use it to tell someone to start doing something.

Cut out also means when something gets turned off (electricity for example or a device), isn't it?

I use a bronzer for my eyeshadow! So a very warm medium brown. Then my blusher is the liquid blush wand by Charlotte Tilbury.
