One morning, Jake was lying in bed when he suddenly felt something cold on his nose. He touched it with his finger and realized it was wet. Looking up, he saw water dripping from a leak in the roof onto his bed.
He called out to his mother, but she didn’t come because she was still asleep. Jake got out of bed, sat in the corner, and quietly watched the water continue to drip.
