We've never used PESOS in Spain. We use EUROS and before the EUROS we used PESETAS

Very interesting lesson about travelling. Some little comment about currency in Spain. We use Euros right now, since 2000. In the past, we used to pay with pesetas, not pesos!! Thank you

I love this lesson but I have to say we NEVER used to use 'Pesos' in Spain. Our previous currency was 'Pesetas'. We now have Euros, of course, as we're part of the EU. 'Pesos' is the currency is some Latin American countries but has NEVER been the case in Spain.
