It’s risky and reckless to live near swamps in Asian countries. There are two reasons for that: firstly, the hazardous environment with a diversity of animals like crocodiles 🐊 and mosquitoes 🦟 and secondly, the stormy weather when it’s pouring day by day without any chance for you to slip away and the humidity is so high that it is a great area for mosquitoes to thrive on. After the storm, mosquitoes are getting so aggressive and they are craving for the fresh blood. After the rainy days, there can be an outbreak of diseases that can be fatal for individuals. People who are infected with a disease can be in disarray but they can always protect themselves by doing vaccination.

The first swamp I've seen was in Mexico, it was full of mangroves. I'd never thought before that some trees could live in solty waters.

What is the difference between Swamp and marsh/ marshland? Can we apply them interchangeably?

Swamps have many 🌴 trees but marshes are mostly wetlands with grasses and moss (few trees) etc.
