Not really,, you don't need them to play football, but if performed that fast, they'll always work, and they're awesome, once you've mastered all the basics it's time to move on in my opinion why not try them ;)

Depends in which game.. In a training, futsal or in a street soccer game you can make yourself look pretty cool in front of everyone :)

DAMYGO ATTAR It won't work even if you do the tricks twice as fast, when you get to a high level of competition, even high school varsity, the defenders wouldn't be trying to stop the ball, the will physically stop you.

True but look at Messi's compared to Ronaldo Ronaldo uses so much tricks that most of the times he eventually has to just pass it but Messi dose old fashion like pele and Maradona with body body movement and change of pace

Ochuko Tubie Ronaldo uses tricks at any moment, whether it is to score or to pass, when he retains the ball doing a stepover or whatever that's not useless, whenever he does it usually another defender comes to help his teammate creating space for someone else on Ronaldo's team. Every player in history sometimes loses the ball intending to dribble, Barcelona have had countless goals against them because Messi, Iniesta or whoever loses the ball in a place they shouldn't be dribbling, it doesn't mean they are flashy or bad players. Cristiano has the skill to pull off sweet stuff on the pitch and he is also confident enough to try out. That video when he was on Manchester United and he drible for 20 seconds the ball in front of the defender its brilliant even though he didn't actually passed him. At that moment, Man U was winning by one goal in the 93rd minute in an important game, Ronaldo was wasting time just as every team does except that the way he does it its fucking awesome. Football is a show, and Ronaldo is the best because he is an amazing player who is also fun to watch.

double nutmeg is nearly impossible to do, when you pull a nutmeg, the defender will close the legs, of course, if he just comes to contain you, not to tackle you.

I did a double nutmeg, and got a yellow for accidentally kneeing a player in the nuts. Now, I know why it's called a nutmeg it's bitter sweet.

The 2nd one (double nutmeg) is the most useless skill I have seen but if your playing street football then this is perfect

even if these moves are useless in a real life game its still always good to practice something new and get better, but i do think if you master these skills as these guys did, you could probably do them in a game, that's why guys like ronaldinho became who they are now, for doing things others couldn't. great job fellas ill definitely start practising
