The first word of each English sentence was so loud and explosive: It was impossible to fall asleep while listening (as the title recommended). The French voice would calm me, then the English voice would shock me. After 20 minutes I couldn't stand it any longer.

The English was much louder than the French, and the background music was making it difficult for me to fall asleep. I got used to people talking, so I can relax when that is going on instead of having the music playing. When I was a child, my mom would stay up late ironing clothes and talking on the phone, and I would often hug her from behind and drift off to sleep while she was doing it.

Very much appreciate you posting this video. As I'm sure you know, it would be awesome if it could be redone with the English a bit softer. Maybe, the English being spoken a bit louder was done with the intent to have the French translation connect with it. Not sure but, still amazing. Much thanks.
@k-k87683 жыл бұрын
It s actually quite annoying to listen to this while sleeping as the English speaking is way louder than the French one so either I couldn’t hear the French properly and when I turned it up for the better clarity of the French phrases then the English speaking would be too loud and definitely interfered with relaxation and sleep...

It would be a super resource except for the fact that the French isn't spoken loudly enough compared to the English so as mentioned in previous comments this necessitates turning the volume up to high which is not conductive to sleep.

Why is the English so much louder than the French? That doesn't make any sense. If anything, it should be the other way around, but really, everything should be at the same even volume. There's hundreds of these tracks, but nobody ever does it right.

Well... I found some mistakes in "Acune phrases" For example At Restaurant is more usual to ask the menu as this: La carte, S'il vous plait? C'est le Francais... Style!!! The menú is more American or British! But If you go to France Ask: Ecoute Garcon, La Carte S'il vous plait! Oui Monsieur, Tout de suit!!! I know you are making a good effort to teach Languages 😮 But, check it up well Before you publish it Well, "I woke up" and... Speak... Scottish!!! 😅 Not French!😮😅😂🎉😊🥩🍇🍾😇🇲🇽😎

Okay. Great idea, but the English voice was louder and clearer, while the French voice was quieter and faster. It was too much of a difference. I couldn’t get to sleep with it at all…found it very annoying actually! This is a really good idea, but the two voices need to be similar in both volume and clarity. The French voice is also too fast for learners to hear properly, so how are we meant to learn/remember…?
