J'ai compris 80-90% de cette histoire. La mere de Peter voulait adopter Lucy comme sa fille et la soeur de Peter. Elle voulait que Peter epouse une autre fille. Finalement, Peter a perdu Lucy et sa mere. Quelle triste histoire! 😢 Mais cela m'a aide a ameliorer mes capacites en lecture de francais. 😊

Well, from what I understood, they WERE blood related, it's just that the mother had adopted only the boy in the first place, and then, when the real parents died, she also brought the girl into the family.
