I can do roller coasters with theming, green across the board, long, lots of airtime/transitions with the best of them. I cannot do buildings, pathing, and just general structure of a park. These guys are on another level

Wow! This park maker needs to make more.... it's so well designed. And I LOVED the tips as to why my parks are taking far too long to load :-D

Before I had to change computers back in the early 2000's I had downloaded a trainer program for RCT2 and created some custom items. I made a Strawberry Phillie's Blunt shop (since I was into that kind of thing back then). I scanned the box then imported it into the trainer to change one of the shops. It looked so cool. I also had lighting that cycled and used them on the supports for my Millennium Force recreation. But if the trainer was not running the game would crash.

Oh my goodness. The real jpeg images were stunning for the pinball machines. I wish the entire game could be produced this way using actual photos of real coaster parts instead of the cartoon-like drawings. Imagine building a photo-realistic park. As it is only water & reflections and some lighting looks photo quality.

Great tips on tmtk frame crashing issues, thank. Awesome build for a beginner.

Interesting!! Good to know these things for when I make a park someday!

I feel TMTK is a great asset for pieces you can't replicate in game, it's a little rough for larger parks but small projects I feel it is fine to go a little wild for realism purposes. I enjoy the textures alot more for some TMTK pieces than most in game pieces. I agree that this creator should be advanced/builder but I wouldn't say expert. Even though I'm not an expert building there is a huge difference in quality when I watched the spotlight/walked it on my own. Allthough Lovely park and good for a builder as well as a nice spotlight jhonny.

I have the workshop addiction with Cities Skylines lol I cut it down from 2800 to 1200 subbed assets/mods :)

The problem is that sometimes you need TMTK items, for example in the Park I am building at the moment there is an entire rainforest/adventure/dinosaur themed area with a wing coaster, a water coaster and a horror heights. To decorate this I used TMTK dinosaurs, but I didn't spam them. In the section before the final drop of the water coster for example I only used 3 T-rexes and one Spinosaurus, the rocks and plants in that area are mostly ingame stuff. The only place in the park where I maybe placed a bit to much TMTK items is the treasure room at the end of the pirate dark ride (but after a 10 minute long journey there has to be a spectacular finale) but even with that the runs pretty well.

Great park ! great lessons ! When I first started on my park I was using too manny pieces, I keep getting better at capturing the essence of what I want using as few pieces as possible. It would be awesome if computers were powerful enough to truly build anything in the game though. Minecraft needs to do a Theme park tycoon like expansion to their game, I would for sure have to buy that !

If you use the base game items you should be okay Jonny’s computer was only struggling because there was lots of theme maker tool kit objects way to many.

I am horrible at the game…just started and it is hard because my laptop runs at, like, 1 fps at times, lol. Any tips? Also, I know how to move forward and backward and I also know how to turn the cam (only to one direction, though), but how do I go up and down…?

Ye you can and yes the problem is Patience trust me it gets boring fast... Just try to build something you want it dos not have to be realistic at all.and if you get tired from it take a break and come back later

For me it’s the opposite I struggle starting but once I do and I get something going I get more ideas in my head and I just keep going. I’m not a master builder I still think building custom designs is a pain it takes forever I like laying paths doing landscaping building coasters but ask me to build a custom boarding station god it takes so long just as long as doing the scenery.
