There are quite a few similar words between Turkish and Georgian. If I’m not mistaken “chanta” also means bag in both languages.

​@@dissonantdreamsThere are for sure Georgian terms of Turkish origin, e. g. უთო (uto "iron") or გემი (gemi "ship"). But Turkish and Georgian also contain a huge number of borrowed terms from Persian, from which ჩანთა is just one of them. Other examples: ქუჩა & ბაზარი
