God, this is just so well made- the dialogues, the actors, the interestingly enough story that keeps you away from being bored, the lines and the script and how well it shows you what you can do with A1 level of German - this helps learners a whole ton and I find it so unbelievably generous for those involved in the production to be giving such contents for everyone for free. I'd simply like to say thank you. It's such a gift.

first of all it’s really hard to work everything correctly, so you warned a pat on your shoulder for that! but heizung isn’t spelled with the ß and since 2006 there’s not many words written with that letter. but it’s really hard to know when to put an h, a ck, a ph instead of an f or anything else, soo really you did a great job!

I think this is brilliant! I am a Spanish teacher ( retired) I loved using subtitled films with my students of all levels. With my advanced students, I used Spanish subtitles or none at all. With the younger ones, familiar Disney films worked well. I have found this film really encouraging.

Guys I’ve been working on learning German for a few years now on and off and this is one of the best resources I’ve used so far. It teaches you pronunciation, vocabulary, culture, all in a passive movie watching experience. You can slow it down and pause to search words you don’t understand, and the subtitles mean you can extrapolate the meaning of words you don’t know. 10/10

Everything go pretty smooth for Nico, and Yara being the restaurant owners friend is just ridiculous coincidence, but all good because this is a film series after all and the casts are excellent and the content is immensely helpful

Reading few negative comments I just think: It is too difficult to appreciate all the work that is behind this? Obviously they are all Germans trying to act as different people base on the needs that people like me/you have, obviouly no all people around the world are kind and will open their doors if u have a problem. THIS IS AN EDUCATIONAL MOVIE, its not a Hollywood movie people, wake up! Its much more useful for students when you hear the German in a correct way even if Nico is a foreigner wo is not supposed to know how to pronounce a word, this is the real way of learning, if I'm a student is not good to hear bad pronunciation. Being in level B1 and watching this I just feel why I didn't find something like this when I started learning? It has a lot of input compressible that it will help you a lot! Please stop seeing the world in a negative way and start seeing how wonderful is to have material like that FOR FREE.
