Hey there, see some explanations for the words נו and הנה - נו (Nu) 1. Encouragement or Urgency: - Example: "נו, בוא כבר!" (Nu, bo kvar!) - "Come on, come already!" - Meaning: It can be used to urge someone to do something or to hurry up. 2. Impatience or Impatience: - Example: "נו, מה קורה?" (Nu, ma kore?) - "So, what's happening?" - Meaning: It can express impatience or demand a response. 3. Expectation or Continuation: - Example: "נו, תמשיך לדבר." (Nu, tamshikh ledaber.) - "Well, go on speaking." - Meaning: It can indicate that you expect the person to continue or to say something. 4. Agreement or Confirmation: - Example: "נו, בסדר." (Nu, beseder.) - "Okay, fine." - Meaning: It can be used to confirm or agree with something. הנה (Hineh) 1. Here or Behold: - Example: "הנה הבית שלי." (Hineh habayit sheli.) - "Here is my house." - Meaning: It can be used to draw attention to something present or to point something out. 2. Announcement or Introduction: - Example: "הנה, אני כאן." (Hineh, ani kan.) - "Look, I'm here." - Meaning: It can be used to announce one's presence or to introduce something. 3. Immediacy: - Example: "הנה זה בא!" (Hineh ze ba!) - "Here it comes!" - Meaning: It can indicate something that is happening right now or immediately.

So when I say "זה החתול שלנו" does that mean "this is our cat" and when I say "החתול הזה שלנו" does that mean "this cat is ours" or am I just confused?

In Hebrew it's same. If you'll notice, on the first slide I placed the English pronouns side by side - our/ours while there is only one word in Hebrew - שלנו. I gave the two examples to emphasize that they are the same in Hebrew. I hope this clarifies it.
