I've learned and forgotten hiragana a thousand times, so I decided to make the last time I watched on this video the last one. So I bought your book, First Japanese Reader, to keep on practicing. I always think I can't learn anything new but honestly, I learnt something off this video! I can't believe I could recognize these letters far better than what my teacher thought me I really think paying to learn something is kind of scam because I love how fast I learn here in under 10 mins than in 1 month 😭😭Thank you so much man, this really helped.

i remember "ho" by looking at it sideways (ほ )if you tilt your head clockwise it looks like HO with a line under it.

It depends on the person. Writing them down helps a lot. I think the key is to really visualize the associations while you watch the video. I would suggest writing each one down ten times and then testing yourself.

Don't worry so much about how long it takes, because you will see the hiragana a lot, so they will quickly get stuck in your brain.

Learning Japanese has opened my eyes to English-borrowed words, English is my second language but I don't actually like English it's so inconsistent and well this is personal but I got bored of learning English because I can speak the language already so I'm jumping outta the boat to learn to swim again, But the difference is that I have experience learning a language so all the mistakes I made in the mistakes I'll just avoid them now The word tsunami is borrowed in Spanish too wow this is really surprising

To anyone who thinks learning hiragana like this is pointless....you aren't right. Honestly, these relations in the brain help to start. Once you practice reading long enough you don't need to worry anymore but before that fluence is acheived, such mnemonics really help.

@@learnjapaneseeasily i realized taking notes of everything you say really helped. the amount of time it took me using your video to learn all hiragana is 3 hours, thats pretty impressive! its like knowing how to read a language in 3 hours!

A lot of the mnemonics are great but I wish there were timestamps or were in the order taught by most school (a i u e o then k, s, t lines) instead of a random order so I can quick search for mneonics for the kana I struggle with. Appreciate it anyway
