These videos are a perfect example of a trainer who is not just masterful at doing the skill, but also *teaching* how to do it. That takes a lot of time and dedication. Also very mindful of boundaries as he asks every time if touch is okay. Brilliantly clear communication and such a great combination of left brain and right brain learning opportunities. So many lessons just leave the rider feeling shamed or incompetent but this is empowering even though he calls out the areas that need improvement. Thank you!!

This is EVERYTHING I've been searching for in hundreds of videos and trying to put all the details together for months. And the woman seems to have almost all of the mistakes I do. Perfect example of what a TRUE, DEDICATED trainer is I've been wishing for. I cannot believe this...Thank you, thank you so much for the video!

I hope you make more of these videos soon. I love Mary Wanless's teachings and you make it very understandable in action. You've brought everything she says alive in a kind and intelligent way. I've rewatched your videos many times because they are just so, so good.

I went from only floppily sitting my trotters very slow trot to sitting even his extensions still retaining all my body control in a single ride after trying this, never knew I already had the strength to do this after 5 years of struggling and no trainer being able to make me sit well

Wonderful… anybody know if we have to tighten our pelvis & inner thighs while setting trot , do we have to hold and hug the horse or do we have to be relaxed and absorb the motion of the horse’s back while moving .. !

This horse is robot? That not move very much. A real horse wag his tail or his ears

@@pisleaggeorge5461 haha, that’s hilarious, I just rewatched the beginning, she absolutely looks like a robot or a statue. She is definitely a real horse 🙃 although she did pass away the end of 2022. She was never known for showing much affection or expression, even when she was a 2 year old, which isn’t normal for the Friesian breed, but she had her own unique personality. She was many riders first horse to canter on, including my kids. We miss having her with us!

Excellent lesson! I like your way of explaining the biomechanics principles, very easy to understand! Will definitely use the numbering system on my next ride. Thanks! :)

One of the greatest classes I’ve seen so far: the attention to detail is superb. And of course you keep showing her how everything is connected and your whole balance (as well as your horse’s) gains a lot from your approach! I wish you the best and thanks by sharing this brilliant work! Maybe someday we’ll be able to fly to Florida to learn directly from you!

Showing this to my exercise coach so she knows more about rider mechanics to help me train better when I get back on the horse after a year and half due to cover! She's never been on one but she's very interested to learn to help me get stronger.
