This is great, mashAllah ukhti However i just want to correct some steps (i am a religious scholar Alhamdulillah, so just adding on) When washing the arms, the arms need to be washed thoroughly both front & back When putting water over the shoulders - its not just 'throwing' per sé, but actually thoroughly rubbing and washing the ENTIRE right side of the body, & then the same for the left side (not just the shoulder). When pouring water over the head, same concept- the entire centre of the body should get washed. Remember 1 of the faraaidh of ghusl (mandatory acts) is not a single hair should remain dry Once again, jazakallah khayran for sharing❤❤

To be clear everyone should know that there are 3 fardh steps of ghusal. You must rinse your mouth out 3 times and inside of your nose 3 times finally ensure your entire body from head to toe has been washed with water including hair (for women if hair is braided it doesn’t need to be undone). Everything else is Sunnah and not obligatory. Please clarify this next time as do not to burden your followers into feeling that they must always perform in this order for their ghusal to be complete. just this? I usually state my intention and just make sure that every part of my body has gotten wet. However I heard from someone a long time ago that there are two different types of ghusul one is wudu then full wash. the other, you need to ensure that water reaches every spot on your body, including under the nails, behind the ears,and inside of it andd the belly button..which made me unsure ever since hearing it can u help me with this?

@@Nehir_bramss it is mustahab (recommended/favoured) to perform wudu before gusl but not obligatory. If you follow only the obligatory steps then your gusl is also complete and accepted.

If your hair is braided it you do have to unbraided it when making ghusl after menses…Now if your making ghusl after sexual intercourse then your braids don’t have to be unbraided

Sister it’s actually based on preference. You don’t have to if you don’t prefer it but for those who like the extra clean then you can use soap.
