Beautiful! I am from Florida and most definitely!!!! The blue crad is KING OF CRABS! We can go and pick up a crabbing permit for 5.00 on any weekend and crab with spoiled chicken. They love it! And you can get crab cages everywhere in the south!

Omg I needed this, haha. Right after world watercolor month I decided I wanted to paint a series of Crabs in Hats. And I had the HARDEST time drawing a crab! Thank you!!!

I used a blue watercolor pencil so I didn’t have to erase any lines. This was so fun!!

I loved doing this! And I love Michael’s comments!!! What about some of the other signs of the zodiac? We’ve done Leo the Lion (me) and now the Crab (my granddaughter). My husband is Capricorn…how about a goat?

I am from the PNW, so I disagree slightly about the best crab. We have Dungeness crab, and it is delicious! It has a mild flavor and is slightly sweet. It is great with butter! Michael needs to look up the Dungeness Spit on maps; great hiking, and gorgeous views all the way into Canada.

I prefer King Crab to Snow Crab, b/c. I think King Crab is sweeter. Pea Crabs are the secret surprise when you open steamed oysters... like a little drop of sweet sea water as an accent to the oyster.
