Overwhelming majority of people say "Ashhadu Allah ilaha illallahu", and not "Ashhadu An La illaha illallahu". The tashahhud may not be part of the Quran, but it should follow the same rules of the Quran, which is what most people go by. This is because the last sentence of the tashahhud, i.e the shahada, is the most fundamental part of Islam that one MUST first believe in to be a Muslim, and the shahada is what connects with what follows, which are Allah's words, the Quran. The shahada is fundamentally and inexorably linked to the Quran and cannot be treated in a way that is separate from the Quran with regards to rules. You are creating quite unnecessary distinction between the two as far as rules are concerned.

Hello, can someone please tell me exactly when you are supposed to raise the index finger of the right hand? Is it when you've started the Tashahud or when you're reciting " I testify that there is no God but Allah..."? Some Muslims in Medina seemed to keep their finger extended when they were beginning the Salawat of Ibrahim. I'm a bit confused about this. Thanks.
@amazingyeah9153 Жыл бұрын
You say this after every prayer at the end when you sitting down, you raise your finger on your lap looking at the end of your index fingertip saying this tashahud. Then you say Asalamu aleykum wa rahmatullah turning your head to the left shoulder then say again Asalamu aleykum wa rahmatullah to your right shoulder then relax your index finger. I highly suggest you join in on lessons or attend the local masajid where you live. I hope that has helped you.

You may have done this but I can not find it. 2,3,4,1 (witr) Rakats That cans be verbally followed during salah. Not something in a teaching format. In a prayer format. (Even if done from the desk so Arabic and translation can be added the amazing way you do. At the moment I am follow some of the kids videos 2 4 3 rakats as I pray. Would love to follow you. What are you talking about man? Without "attahiyyatu" there isn't a prayer! Are you the owner of the prayer? What is the point of saying "Assalamu aleyke ya eyyuhannabiyyu..." to a dead person? The logic which promotes it is that so called "shafaah" at work here and be warned that a human being can not make a "shafaah " for another human being in the hereafter even if it be the RasoolAllah!
