Your channel was a beautiful surprise! I wasn't expecting this level of artistry, you should have way more subscribers! There wasn't nothing that you have portrayed in this video i personally can't do but the way you break the process in every video is exceptionally well done and inspirational. As a photoshop enthusiast I must say that i admire your style and I simply watch your videos as form of entertainment! Congrats from Portugal!

Hi Damian, I've watched all your videos, thank you for the tips! Could you do a video, showing only the part that you are shooting the car? Telling what your process of compositing, which lens, etc. And, I dunno if you have experience with motorbikes for another video would be awesome! Thank you!

I do this on a daily basis since I’m a photographer for Audi, sadly I do not get the time to play about like this in post production. Thank you for showing me how to improve interior images. (We run the cars to remove engine warning lights/airbag lights, not recommended in closed environments)

Can get better results setting camera on manual as it looked like you were shooting aperture priority with the green focus box on your camera screen so focus will shift slightly with each shot but if shoot manual this will not alter with each shot. Also trigger release should be used to avoid any contact with camera and not cause any shake or camera movement. This really helps in post production as all shots will line up perfectly. Another trick as a starting shot is do a shot with a long exposure to start with this really helps capture dials and internal lighting then composite other details into this shot from lighting around the car. Also you can get excellent results from shooting interiors in a blacked out room or environment with multiple long exposures and light using light painting then composite during post this creates very clean results.

Awesome tutorials, very detailed. This video taught me a lot ! Thank you for your work. Btw, I would like to know what is your ideal camera for car photography ?
@DamianPlisko3 жыл бұрын
In my opinion any camera works for automotive photography. The lens is more important. In which case i like to have a versatile lens like a 24-70mm
@dylanferguson4238 Жыл бұрын
Great work and tutorial, just wanted to point out the nav screen in the gauges is not always a great choice when adding a different background. As your background is mountains and the nav screen is showing in an urban area, doesn't match.
@DamianPlisko10 ай бұрын
that is a very valid point, thanks!

Great work Damian, thanks for explaining things to clearly. One question, why didn't you just shoot in manual focus rather than having the lens refocus during every shot?

I mean its just a plain garage, you can do this in any location. Yes the light equipment is required but you can also light paint which is a more affordable option
@_-Anthony-_3 жыл бұрын
@@DamianPlisko I quickly realized this video wasn't what I was looking for regardless. I have been shooting car interiors for 8 months for a company, that sells cars, and now finally wanna start for myself. But that would be outside and with only a camera, no fancy light equipment. And the pictures will be sale pics, not as much focused on perfect aesthetics. I did watch the whole video lol, but only cause I'm interested, since it was a nice video, just not one made for me 🙃. Cheers tho!
