Thanks Roy for helping to inject a little sanity into BJJ. Stomping in a street fight is one of the most intuitive and dangerous things you can face (and I have been there a few times) in a real fight and is certainly approaching "lethal force" kinds of danger, yet so many BJJ "experts" don't know a thing about it and certainly don't train it (they would rather be learning the 47th way to pass the guard I guess). The problem , is then the public is forced to turn to other sources (similar to your example at the beginning) and are taught down right stupid and dangerous methodologies. So I believe that we as BJJ practitioners have a moral responsibility to ensure the public gets proper self defense training. I came across a Krav Maga video here on you tube, where the guy was demonstrating their "karate blocks" on the ground defenses against these kinds of ground kicks. When he had his partner pick up the speed a little, but still just demonstrating, it looked like he gets kicked right in the face...lol. Someone else was videoing it i think so it was never edited out. That should be a wake up call for the dangerous tactics being causally taught by the self-defense "experts". Have you seen that KM demo video?

Love your stuff. Keep coming back to this site. Is the "Pressure and Control" video made yet? If so, is it on Patreon?
