while dragging or copying the formula to the remaining cells, the cell positions are getting changed and the value returns as N/A even post locking the cells. Could you suggest a solution to resolve this

Press F4 to lock the table array. You can see $ sign if locked. Then copy formula. It'll work✌🏻

Match column H1 should lock, otherwise while dragging the formula to bottom will get N/A values.

ഒരു സെല്ലിലെ value change ആയാൽ previous value അതിന്റെ അടുത്ത സെല്ലിലേക്ക് save ആകണം. Next time change ആകുമ്പോ ഇത് repeat ആകണം. Example A1 ൽ 4 (as a result of a calculation ) ഇത് change ആയിട്ട് A1 ൽ 7 വന്നു. അപ്പോൾ A1 ലെ previous റിസൾട്ട്‌ 4 എന്നുള്ളത് B1 ൽ വരണം. Next time A1=2 ആയി. അപ്പോൾ A1 ലെ previous value 7 എന്നുള്ളത് B1 ൽ വരണം. And so on. ഇതിനു എന്തെങ്കിലും വഴി ഉണ്ടോ?

Hai , i have followed your table and create the same . However, i haven't got the result. Because, the dropdown list which you have shown only 03 cells and avoid Name . How did you select that .While i have selected thru Data validation i could not select the those particular 03 and i got error message. since you have not show the drop down list part i have no idea whether you have create any match function in the drop down list.
