Isaiah 53 is one of the most powerful messianic prophecies in the Jewish Scriptures. Prophesied by the prophet Isaiah who lived in the seventh-eighth century BC. According to his prophecy in Isaiah 53, at the end of days, the leaders of Israel would recognize they had made a mistake when they rejected the Messiah.
Isaiah 53 is also referred to as the “Forbidden Chapter”. A long time ago, the section apparently caused a lot of arguments and confusion among the rabbis, so they decided that the simplest solution would be to just take that prophecy out of the Haftarah readings in synagogues. That is why today, Jewish people read Isaiah 52, stop in the middle of the chapter and the week after they jump straight to Isaiah 54, completely skipping Isaiah 53! Therefore, many Jewish people all over the world today are not familiar with Isaiah 53.
How share the Good News with Jewish people?:
People often ask me how share the Good News with Jewish people? Isaiah 53 is a great place to start! Learn and recite these verses to your Jewish friend and ask them if they know where you are reading from? Most likely, they will think that you are reading from the New Testament, but when you show them it’s actually from their own Jewish Bible, a prophecy by the prophet Isaiah written more than a thousand years before Yeshua (Jesus) came to earth, a real conversation can start from there.
Isaiah 53:4-6 Hebrew Poster, provide an easy way for learning these powerful, life-changing verses in their original Hebrew language. Complete transliteration and translation into English. You will be able to see, say and understand each Hebrew word, without having to learn the Hebrew language. Available on a beautiful ready-to-frame Hebrew poster.
“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our pains.
Yet we esteemed Him stricken, struck by God, and afflicted.
But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities.
The chastisement for our shalom was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
We all like sheep have gone astray. Each of us turned to his own way.
So ADONAI has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:4-6)

If you ask 100 Rabbis about this Chapter they will give you 100 different answers. Rabbis has always controlled what teachings were and were not allowed. They are losing the battle to Jesus thanks to the internet. Jews are learning and waking up to their biggest kept secret. Jesus Christ is the Messiah

A teacher who specializes in Old Norse pointed out that many of us modern English speakers suffer from "lazy mouth" every part of the mouth must be active when speaking Old Norse AND Hebrew! Both are impossible to understand if you try to look at them through a modern lens. I actually find Hebrew easier than Old Norse though.

I was looking to find an interlinear that had the pronunciation with the Hebrew word and English meaning. Art scroll has a chamash and some other books with the English under the Hebrew writing but not the pronunciation like you have done. Do you make a Bible like this?

I don't know of a physical Hebrew Bible that exist with transliteration/pronunciation, and even though I would have loved to be able to offer a Bible like this, it will take more than a lifetime to make. You could use the free Bible Hub or Blue Letter Bible online, although their transliteration is hard to make out sometime...

@@TheWORDinHEBREW I love how you’ve done it on a few of the more popular quotes. I’m committed, and I will learn this awesome language. Each letter adds so much more depth to each total meaning. Thank you for what you do. Maybe I can start adding small labels onto the art scroll I have until I become more proficient at reading. I have magnetic fridge Aleph-Bet. Flash cards, and a Green Hebrew interlinear. Listening to your KZbin clips are helping tremendously. Please pray that Hashem gives me a special anointing to learn at my old age. I’m so dedicated to learning his truth, and so disappointed that my Christian upbringing did not teach me Torah, instead i got pet doctrines and vain pagan holiday traditions instead a solid foundation and Abba’s appointed holy days. Even the scripture for 5783 in Deut. is so encouraging to me. Shalom

I understand that a large number of rabbis (perhaps most), state that the verses in Isaiah 53, refer to Israel/Israelite's. When the Hebrew Scriptures refer to the Israelite's, it characterizes them as a "she" and "her" (e.g., Jeremiah 3:8). In Isaiah 53, it refers to a "he" and a "him", and not to a "she" or a "her"; which would to my reading be more appropriate. Also, in the Hebrew Scriptures, from most of the Books from Exodus to Ezekiel, it frequently states that the Israelite's were an obstinate, stiff-necked, and disobedient people; this doesn't sound like the scripture pertains to the Israelite's, but to something else.

You have to read the previous chapters to see who the suffering servant is .Its certainly not jesus Isaiah 43.10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.

@@abrahamites5441 Israel cannot be the suffering servant because Isaiah 53 also says no violence or deceit was found in his mouth. We all know Israelites were far from perfect to be able serve as the perfect sacrifice that god requires as atonement from sin. Abraham lied and so did Jacob. They stoned and killed all the prophets of god so Israelites were violent people as well. Confess your sins and do tshuva. Call on yeshua to forgive your sins.

@@abrahamites5441 Yep this is pretty much a perfect description for Jesus.. "1 Who would have believed our report, and to whom was the arm of the Lord revealed? אמִ֥י הֶֽאֱמִ֖ין לִשְׁמֻֽעָתֵ֑נוּ וּזְר֥וֹעַ יְהֹוָ֖ה עַל־מִ֥י נִגְלָֽתָה: 2 And he came up like a sapling before it, and like a root from dry ground, he had neither form nor comeliness; and we saw him that he had no appearance. Now shall we desire him? בוַיַּ֨עַל כַּיּוֹנֵ֜ק לְפָנָ֗יו וְכַשֹּׁ֙רֶשׁ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ צִיָּ֔ה לֹא־תֹ֥אַר ל֖וֹ וְלֹ֣א הָדָ֑ר וְנִרְאֵ֥הוּ וְלֹֽא־מַרְאֶ֖ה וְנֶֽחְמְדֵֽהוּ: 3 Despised and rejected by men, a man of pains and accustomed to illness, and as one who hides his face from us, despised and we held him of no account. גנִבְזֶה֙ וַֽחֲדַ֣ל אִישִׁ֔ים אִ֥ישׁ מַכְאֹב֖וֹת וִיד֣וּעַ חֹ֑לִי וּכְמַסְתֵּ֚ר פָּנִים֙ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ נִבְזֶ֖ה וְלֹ֥א חֲשַׁבְנֻֽהוּ: 4 Indeed, he bore our illnesses, and our pains-he carried them, yet we accounted him as plagued, smitten by God and oppressed. דאָכֵ֚ן חֳלָיֵ֙נוּ֙ ה֣וּא נָשָׂ֔א וּמַכְאֹבֵ֖ינוּ סְבָלָ֑ם וַֽאֲנַ֣חְנוּ חֲשַׁבְנֻ֔הוּ נָג֛וּעַ מֻכֵּ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים וּמְעֻנֶּֽה: 5 But he was pained because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; the chastisement of our welfare was upon him, and with his wound we were healed. הוְהוּא֙ מְחֹלָ֣ל מִפְּשָׁעֵ֔נוּ מְדֻכָּ֖א מֵֽעֲוֹֽנוֹתֵ֑ינוּ מוּסַ֚ר שְׁלוֹמֵ֙נוּ֙ עָלָ֔יו וּבַֽחֲבֻֽרָת֖וֹ נִרְפָּא־לָֽנוּ: 6 We all went astray like sheep, we have turned, each one on his way, and the Lord accepted his prayers for the iniquity of all of us. וכֻּלָּ֙נוּ֙ כַּצֹּ֣אן תָּעִ֔ינוּ אִ֥ישׁ לְדַרְכּ֖וֹ פָּנִ֑ינוּ וַֽיהֹוָה֙ הִפְגִּ֣יעַ בּ֔וֹ אֵ֖ת עֲו‍ֹ֥ן כֻּלָּֽנוּ:" But here is something else for you: Book of Tehillim (Psalms): "22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet." - this is pretty much the description of the suffering of a person who is nailed on a cross.. and it is in your own religious book the Torah. You might want to start to read it yourself from the first letter to the last without the "help and interpretations" of a rabbi :D To think somehow that your whole nation is the lamb offered for the sins of the whole world is maybe the most prideful thing I ever heard. Mere humans.. Your own texts are clear that 1 person in flesh will be sent. If you dont believe in the Messiah you deny the central part of your own religion and you don't understand it's core. According to your own scripture you were separated from God’s presence and that is why you are waiting for the Messiah to pay for the sins so through him you can be in the presence of God once again ..and many gentiles who will receive him before you - this is also written in your own scripture - and there are some prophecies in different places in your own scripture about the Messiah that were written centuries earlier before Jesus showed up and fulfilled them. You denied him and the majority of the Jews still waiting for a Messiah. If Jews were the "Messiah" why would you wait for him?! ..logical thinking is not your thing right? One of the things the Messiah had to fulfill is that he had to arrive before the destruction of the Second Temple ..you know which was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans when the got the city under blockade, killed pretty much everyone in it and destroyed the city and the Second Temple. Yep ..this is also written in your own scripture. You can either dont believe in these things or you can admit that these are there ..but if you lie you lie to yourself about it because you are a 5 seconds google search away from starting to read your Torah and confirm to yourself that the Messiah that you been waiting for already arrived according to the things written in your scripture. But hey it is also written that your nation will deny the Messiah when he arrived and for a long time after that so you are fulfilling that prophecy right now ..isnt that awesome?! :D Also here is verse 48 from your scripture Listen, O coastlands, to me, And give heed, O nations afar: The LORD appointed me before I was born, He named me while I was in my mother’s womb. Can a nation be born from a mother's womb? No. Can the Messiah who was promised to be a men in flesh and blood? Yes. In your scripture Israel is always reffered to as "her" and the Messiah is always reffered to as "him". Read your book please.
