Madam - Thanks for this video. I have some doubts and request your advice. If I observe your playing closely, you seem to play RR as R-SR you seem to take the second R from S.. Hope I got it right! If so, GG as G-RG, MM as M-GM, PP as P-MP and so on... If so, when I try in Mayamalava Gowla vs Shankarabaranam, I assume that I need to pick the right lower swara, depending on R1 or R2, or D1 or D2... Does that mean, I should try and practice Jantai in all Ragas.. Second question is if I am trying Jantai in Mohanam, how do I play PP.. It would not be P-MP, but it should be P-GP, right? Or it should be just SP-SP.. Pls advise.- Thanks, Hari

As for the GRG , MGM , Carnatic music does have these referral microtones which have to be intelligently played such that they are not obviously changing the raga s character. You dont need to play in different ragas , just Mayamalavagowlai and in two speeds is good enough.
