Eko Languages This may seem a bit strange, but do you have or know any videos on the Icelandic language or other Germanic or Nordic languages? It's cool if not, i was just wondering. Thanks! Ciao!

I don't know much about Icelandic. It sounds like you have some suggestions below. There is some request for other Nordic Germanic languages, so I will consider those in the future. Ps Icelandic does sound very cool!!!! Best of luck learning

I played this while I took a nap. Whenever my mind would try to fall into a deeper sleep, this would wake me up. I was in this odd half asleep/ half awake state. When I woke up, the video was over, and I felt as if my brain been crammed with information.

right. You are smart. moreover, Watashi = feminine pronoun ,but People use it in formal situation regardless of gender. More polite expression is watakushi. Ore = masculine/manly pronoun (casual)

I am glad to be of service to you! I never heard women use "ore" in real until now. But I heard Infrequently women use "ore" in anime. Men usually use "watashi" in formal situation, such as business. But men usually don't use "watashi" in another situation.

watashi is formal for any gender boku is informal for younger men ore is a bit rude or if you try to sound tough/manly (woman can use it but usally tomboys who think they are badass chicks) atashi is feminine

Ozzy Traverse Um.... little bit of a tip on how to get the stick out of your ass: first off, Japanese people originally designed animes (which means Cartoon in Japanese you unintelligent sequacious fork) as a source of entertainment for their children, and, second, Japan is a culture around respect, care, honesty and intellect, it is quite possibly the least xenophobic country in the world, for how can you respect someonr if you are too busy fearing them? You simply can't.

His voice echoing in my head as i try to sleep. It is now five minutes into the videos. As I almost drifted off to sleep, I hear one more sentence. I'm wheezing. There are tears streaming down my face. It's too fucking much. I can take it seriously. I'm having a laugh attack at one in the morning.

It’s easier to pronounce in Japanese and understand , but write and read in Japanese is difficult ,Japanese has 3 alphabet and so much grammar, Korean is hard to pronounce but you can learn the alphabet in 1 hour and the grammar isn’t that difficult so that is the difference

Gilded Onyx There’s two ways to ask someone’s name, you can go the possessive route “Anata no namae...” Which I would personally use for writing comics or something like that. O namae wa would be more formal as well for business situations お名前は何ですか vs あなたの名前は何ですか?

Marc Imad There are many variations, but you can always go with 「じゃあ、また後で」/jaa mata ato de, which is a generic, "Well, then, I'll catch you later." You can also use the exact day or time you expect to see someone again, so like "jaa mata ashita" (See you tomorrow) or "jaa mata raishuu" (See you next week).

I just want to say one thing.... Just because someone isn't a native speaker doesn't mean they can't teach Japanese. The comments are annoying. I'm not saying that his accent is A1 but I had a white teacher at uni that had an incredible accent from years on off living in Japan. If you guys wanted to hear a native I don't see why you stayed on his vid after looking at his profile pic. (I mean he COULD have been born in Japan and lived there). But then AGAIN if you look at his about he has several links on teaching English so more than likely that's his native language. If you wanna be picky don't learn on some random KZbin video on sleep learn theories that aren't even proven. 🙄 Get some actual Japanese learning software or textbooks that come with guided disks. 🙄

I’m found a really relaxing but good way to actually learn something from This. Lay down somewhere dark and quiet, close your eyes, listen to the English meaning, then listen to the Japanese version, repeat the word after he says it once, and then the next time he repeats the word do the same thing and so on, Good Luck!❤️

Anyone else get overwhelmed by the sudden need to be fluent in multiple languages at once but not wanting to go through the process of learning? idk I mean im fluent in 2 languages because I've been speaking them since I was able to start speaking but I have this urge to just be fluent in so many more languages but it's so hard to work towards it. I'm self studying mandarin since late 2016 and it feels AMAZING to be able to read some of it and understand it, it also feels great to understand Korean SOMETIMES. I also understand a lot of French too which is honestly great. I wanna learn Japanese because my friend is too, but I'm not even fluent in the other 3 languages I already know a bit of... 😔 I also wish to take up Thai, Hindi, Spanish and German but that's not happening any time soon, lol.. anyways thanks for this video, it's really useful!

Do you just listen to this when you sleep and then while you’re sleeping your brain takes out a pen and paper and learns every single word, paying attention while if you listened while you were awake, after like 5 words you’ll say to yourself, “so much work, lemme get some ice cream”?

Hello! That's a very good video :) Just a little detail, when you have a ō , like dōmo , you can also write doumo, because the u extends the o sound - > ど=do / う=u / dōmo = doumo, so don't be surprised if you read the second one in a Japanese sentence, transposed in Romaji But that video is well made, excellent for beginner /novice Have a good day 😊
