Thank you for making this video. I am a white male and I work with a lot of people from Laos. I think you did a great job with this video and it's the perfect speed. If someone thinks it's too fast they can use the pause button and rewind too. :)

Hello Vanida. Thank you for your videos. I appreciate that they are very practical and applicable. I especially the videos where you ask a question and answer it. I would like to see more questions paired to answers that people would normally use as this is most useful. Additionally, I would also like to see a video where the structure of a phrase or sentence is explained. For example: in English we would say "Look at that beautiful woman." whereas in Spanish we would say "Mira a esa mujer hermosa." These sentences are the same. However, in English, the adjective (beautiful) is placed before the noun (woman) whereas in Spanish the noun (mujer) is placed before the adjective (hermosa). I am traveling to Laos in a month and am trying to get familiar with the language. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Hello. Thanks for your nice videos. I am wondering if you might know how similar Lao language would be to Esan dialect of Northeast Thailand. I live in the region currently and have been learning standard Thai, but the locals speak Esan as first language, which apparently is much more closely related to Lao language than to standard Thai. The problem is that I have not found many online materials to learn Esan, so am wondering if learning Lao would be useful in this situation. It seems like it would be, since I already can recognize many of the words in your video which also are present in Esan. Anyway, if you may have insight on the topic, it would be appreciated. Keep up the great work and thanks for your content.

Hi Vanida, thanks for your video. What is the different between "yuu va" and "bor." In your example "Jao mee hong yai goua ni yuu va" and "Yuu hong haem mee sa way nam bor." sorry I'm a beginner.
