Great video brother. I’m an independent watchmaker, specializing in vintage and modern Rolex repair and most of what you’re saying is spot on. I no longer am willing to authenticate entire watches. I am only willing to authenticate the movement and case. Had a huge scare with a replica seadweller. Original movement, but the case… somethin was wrong about the case. Had every single feature that the gen version has (same bezel click system, same rim for crystal) but the back Teflon gasket had something weird about it as well as the second backcase cover. Client got upset wit me that I could only authenticate the movement, but shit. I don’t even charge for authentication. Never really made sense business wise anyway. This video reinforced that thought. Thank you.

fun fact, i once opened a master lock with a bunched up tangle of a paper clip that i jammed into it over and over again, and jumbled around until it just opened, as a child (i had been grounded and my parents put a lock on the power cord so it couldn't plug into the wall)

I bought one of these. And while I can pick normal 5 and 6 pin locks, the pins in this thing have a paint coating that causes them to bind where normal pins wouldn't.
