Nice shredding on the mandolin :). Tarantella is so catchy, indeed. Some 30+yrs ago the mandolin was my first stringed instrument. I learned to play it and read music sheet as a child, but forgot everything in the meantime. Thanks for bringing back some nice memories! Next, you could try playing the banjo, oud or maybe lute.

You can fake a lot by looking at the tuning as an upside down guitar and inverting the chord shapes.

fun video! It took me more like 3 months to play songs on mando 🙂Hope you're enjoying all those pinky stretches. But mercifully barre chords aren't as critical versus guitar, as there are only 4 strings and you have 4 fingers.

Try out Violin! It's a stringed instrument but I bet you can't get a deasent sound out of it in an hour =) I've tried one breafly and having played guitar for 20+ years didn't help at all. Aaaand thats where the fun lies for us to watch!
