This really does work, I remember my school trying to teach me morse code with that little chart, and when I couldn't understand it, they yelled at me, and I never tried it again until a few days ago, and this method truly does work for anyone and almost everyone.
@jasonc92357 жыл бұрын
This method actually works! A few days after watching this video (and completely forgetting about it) I decided to see what I could actually recall. Well... it ALL just came to me..with a bit of focus I was able to recall ALL of the letters and numbers. I've never been able to "memorize" more than a handful at a time, and just gave up in the past. But now I am so excited to be able to say that I am consistently spelling my own callsign, name, even short sentences at 12WPM+ A bit more practice and I've got sending down (less than a week after watching the "G-method') Thank-you! J

Pattern and shape recognition does NOT require "memorization" that a person can forget. For example, once you recognize the shape of an apple, you will ALWAYS know that apple, and NEVER, EVER have to "memorize" it! It is EXACTLY the same with Mr.G.'s System, which is THE most simple and best way to learn Morse Code very-very fast!!! Thanks for your feedback and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

My dad, who was a radio man in the Army in the thirties, said a good operator would keep two or three words in his head while receiving. So what he was writing down had already occurred. Comments? He also told me about the sideswiper keys they used for speed. It occurs to me you could use the P.O.W. tap code they used in the Hanoi Hilton during Vietnam. A lot slower, but you don't have to learn much.

this is really great! Do you have this overview of all the letters as a png, pdf? Or do I have to screenshot the video?
@Ham4All5 жыл бұрын
There is a PNG graphical version, however Mr.G. felt that it would not be very good to release it, because the image does not reflect the direction of the visual movement properly and could cause confusion. So the best way is to just follow the video once or twice at max, after which the overwhelming majority of people could EASILY learn (for life) the entire basic letter and number section of Morse Code.

Morse is audio so trying to remember how a letter is carved up and dots added is not for me. I'm not a natural with morse so I have to keep refreshing it but if a system works for you then fine.

Mr.G. says it's the "most dominant" shape in the figure. That's how he recognized the "patterns" that worked for all. Once you check and see, it just goes automatically. Many people sent us feedback that it took them only half an hour after watching the video, then checking back after a month, almost all letters came back automatically with only one or two exceptions, which is remarkable!

After going through the "visualization" process to learn the codes VERY fast, obviously the next step is, just as demonstrated in the second half of the video, to start practicing with apps that keep proper spacing and gradually gaining speed, while the mind adjusts to the actual code applications. However, all that can be done IN AN HOUR OR LESS (!!!) versus the "regular" system that takes months, which most people simply don't have, or refuse to spend on learning Morse Code.
