TJ, thank you so very much for providing the Learn Morse Code Lessons. I actually think I am moving forward with this way of learning. TJ, since you have the experience in morse code, do you have any suggestions on picking out a vanity call sign? I have my extra license and I thought it would be nice to get a vanity call sign. Thank you again TJ.

I've seen a lot of people go with their three initials for their name. I think that is something that I would do. Or something interesting with your name - like K7JAN.

Great lesson! Thanks! I have found that if I sit at my radio and follow along (keying the same letters directly after you key them) it trains me to send as well as copy!!!

Can you do a video of how to set your radio to not transmit but still give your dits/dahs?

On many radios, not all, you can set the ‘Break-in’ to be OFF. This is a setting for the keyer. The other way some people suggest, is to buy a dummy load and attach that instead of an antenna. It’s bad for your radio to transmit without an antenna, so the dummy load takes the place of an antenna.

Did you change the "tone/hertz/frequency/pitch" (which ever, ha) from 720, on this Lesson from the first three lessons? Or, is it just the difference in the brand of the paddles?

It's a Levenger bomber mouse pad... It's actually not my favorite and was thinking about getting one of those custom mouse pads I've seen come up in my feed. 😁
