Look that when I export from scrivener to pdf, the file comes out with the sign # in the division of each paragraph, do you know why?

Just wanted you to know that after watching hundreds of videos on Scrivener, I've learned more from you in 20 minutes than all of the others combined. You are very well-spoken and it's apparent to me that you have fully mastered this software. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. At 80 years old, I'm late to the ballgame to begin writing and I have no time to waste on nonsense. Again, thank you for not wasting my time. Many blessings to you as you continue your journey.

Even 4 years later this tutorial is still very helpful. I tried scrivener, but was overwhelmed by it and came back to writing my manuscript with pages, coz I wanted to get away of word. But pages it’s a pain, specially for revising, it was so slow, that I decided to give scrivener a second chance. Thanks a lot!

Well worth the quick eighteen minute tutorial. If you are serious about becoming an author and want to step up your ability to use scrivener as a proficient writer or researcher... watch this video... take quick actionable notes for formatting your work and retaining the keyboard command shortcuts... and when the video is finished, dive in and tackle your writing projects. You only need one tutorial to get a grasp of the basics... Watching two or more tutorials is a form of resistance distracting you from writing. Learn what you need and get back to writing! Michael, thank you for putting together this video. You provided quite a few beneficial tools and navigational tactics which I was hoping I would learn. Just glad your video was the first one I watched. Now for a consistent flow of highly productive and streamlined scrivener writing sessions to wrap up a couple non-fiction manuscripts. Thanks again!

Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. It is 2021 and I am coming at it as someone with 20 word documents for my dissertation and kind of a premade mess. I had been recommended the program by various friends as a way to reorganize everything. Your approach is for obvious reasons very different, and much more elegant, but it is helping me dive into the program without feeling quite so lost (even after doing the official tutorial). I'll check out your over videos now. Again, thank you... finally, I will share this with some of my siblings who are starting to write fiction.

Thanks for this. Well made and very, very helpful. However, as a complete beginner, I REALLY wish you had started out with the default setting on the left-hand menu instead of your own custom project settings. This luddite could really have used your input on starting from the very beginning.

Many thanks, but as a complete beginner I have very basic doubts, like.... How do you get to the front page that you've shown (Front matter, My Book, Pre Production, etc). I have Scrivener - 3. are your instructions valid for this version?

absolutely agree with that…I wish I had found Michaels You Tube sessions first...
@properjob2 жыл бұрын
@@pauljacksonstoryteller7631 Yes, because sadly, the official Scrivener forum can be quite unfriendly. A Scrivener official heaped scorn on me rather than answering my query. As a direct result of that I have given up on the program.
@seanmoore74362 жыл бұрын
YES! All the KZbin instructors assume we know how to get to the page on which they "start". We don't. Do we "Download" the Scrivener? How? From where? The only Download I can find seems to be for a trial membership deal. I'm an all-out purchaser. Whatevr I find on my computer, with the big S logo, does not tell-show me how to get to the nice "begin" pages that all the teachers start at. How to get there??
