Discover and learn the uses and applications of authentic Nepalese singing bowls with our weekly 90 minutes workshop in Warren Street, less than 1 minute walk from Warren Street station.
We invite you in our exclusive 20 seats sound theatre to learn about singing bowls and to get immersed in a powerful sound bath.
In the 90min you will:
~ Learn about the properties of sound, singing bowls and the rationale of sound healing therapy.
~ Practise sound healing techniques, using authentic hand-made Nepali singing bowls.
~ Calm your mind and nurture your body with a relaxing and powerful sound bath.
A SINGING BOWLS IS A BELL WITH THE SHAPE OF A BOWL THAT PRODUCES A VERY PARTICULAR SOUND AND VIBRATION USED FOR:

EVENT STRUCTURE:
1 - Introduction with a guided relaxation and guided sound listening.
2 - Individual vertical sound bath in our 22 inches standing bowl.
3 - Guided practise of playing with the singing bowl of your choice.
4 - Guided chakra opening and balancing mediation using ancient Nepali sound listening techniques.
5 - Immersive singing bowls and gongs bath, with chimes and water drum.
6 - Q & A.
FACILITATOR:
Tantra Sound Club offers a space for individual and collective exploration, promoting the use of original Seven Metal Healing Bowls & its sound, yoga & therapeutic practices.
Akshaya Adhikari and Julie Skibinski are the co-founders of Tantra Sound Club.
Akshaya is a Brahmin from Nepal, who takes to heart to share the philosophy & practices of healing and tantric knowledge that he acquired from his family who have passed on this ancient knowledge through many generations in Nepal.
Julie is a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist, she has trained in sound healing with singing bowls in Nepal with the Nepalese Healing Masters, and is working tirelessly for bridging mind and body with unique blend of Eastern & Western philosophy & applications in her practises.
