Sir, “want to do” is also infinitive+nom. So what is the difference
@LEARNTAMIL1

They can all be used interchangeably . I have to go and need to go is almost the same in English . Similarly , it has to be understood according to the context. We do not have to bring the English context to Tamil. It is only for understanding.

LEARN AND SPEAK TAMIL thank you sir, but here I see “want to” has “ kku “, and “have to” is the first case, no need to change into fourth case, am I right ?

LEARN AND SPEAK TAMIL ok sir, for example in the previous video, you said: if we want to express “I want to eat” we say எனக்கு சாப்பிடணோம். It waS not நான் சாப்பிடணோம். Here in this video, “ he must give me money” here “ he” you used அவர் instead of அவருக்கு... so this is what I found different...

@@Kiki-np2dm I think one of the videos I explained it . I have to eat , you could say naa.n saapidano.m and enakkU sapidano.m ... it is a subltle difference in what one wants to convey . And "avanukkU enankkU kaasU kudukkakkano.m and avE.n enakkU kaasU kudukkano.m is both grammatically ok but with different meaning. in both the above case " enakkU" stresses on the feeling one has than what is really needed. avanukkU here can be roughly translated as.. as far as him ( his feeling, his urge ) to return the money . It is tricky thing from language to language and that is why you have to understand the language as it is than conversion of grammar rules.
