Your max torque availability is lower than your rev limiter which is why it’s not great to ride a red line. If you need to project forward there’s no extra power torque to channel due to you riding max RPM. If your at 8kRPMs in 5th gear and your rev limit is 8 or 9k then when you downshift it won’t do anything
