What does kakui mean? I tried to research it but couldn't find any info. I also asked my Japanese wife and she couldn't find any info either. Thank you!

*Thank you for your comment. You mentioned the term "kakkui" in the video, which means that when you cut back a branch, it dies because you left the branch in the middle. I had been strictly instructed by my seniors in the provinces not to leave any "kakkui".

In the video, there was an industry term "kakui", which means that when you cut back a branch, the branch is cut off in the middle and becomes withered. I was strictly instructed by my seniors in the countryside not to leave behind any kakui.
