The solution is queen to g4 so then g6 are g7 are the only options to stop an immediate checkmate in two moves. However the best move they have after Qb4 is Qf6 to delay checkmate by one more move. Well and after taking the queen we can choose whether to checkmate on g7 or on h8

The entire problem with danish gambit is that black chickens out after e5 and plays a passive move 3, not taking any pawns. All my lines become kind of useless after that....

As a Danish Gambit player (it’s my only repertoire for White) it’s great to see a video about this! One of Alekhine and Mieses’ favourite openings. I would love to see this return to top level chess!
