Just as farming requires both long-term planning for sustainable growth and short-term care for immediate harvests, your videos nurture my love for learning in the short term while cultivating my growth in English (Bob's language! ❤️) for the long term! Thank you

Thanks a lot for the lesson, Bob! Do you have long-term goals (personal or professional)? A quick nap can provide a short-term energy boost. Get plenty of rest after your labors!

My long term goal is to work part-time. Right now, between teaching, the farm, and KZbin I still work too much probably. I like it though. Work has always been fun for me. 😀🎁🌳

Hello Bob , these expressions remind me of a guy that worked for my parents for a long time 😊 He was able to fix almost everything and if you wanted to know if the fix was for the long term or for the short term you would ask: hey Andrzey how long is the warranty? and he would ansver 2hours, 2days or 2 years😅. Anyways,I hope you feel better soon and you don't have to run after Jen's goats today🙏
@bobsshortenglishlessons
@bobsshortenglishlessons 3 ай бұрын
Nice. I would always pick the 2 year warranty no matter the cost! 😀🎁🌳

3:26 Yeah, that’s a cool little spot indeed. If only you could hang a hammock there! Oops I said it, hehe! Sorry Mr. Bob, I guess I’ve been watching far too many Canadians lately and I might’ve started to pick up some of their passive aggressiveness! 🤭🍁🍃

Hi Bob! Thanks for the phrases 🙂. Is it possible to use "to bodge" for "the short term" in a very casual way? I use the translated word often when I repair something for a very short while, just to have it working until it gets repaired in a proper way.
@bobsshortenglishlessons

We don't use that term here in Canada much. We would use something like, "a quick fix'". 😀🎁🌳

So you went to the big pool and were very physically active there. Well, I would guess you fooled around a little too much with your kids in the pool, Bob 😘. With something like that, it can easily happen that you still notice it days later. Haha, (jk) ❤️. Anyway, after this lesson (in reference to my comment from yesterday) I can only confirm again that your farm is definitely a quieter place than the little alley you were in on Monday. Thanks for the new lesson and phrases, Bob. I'm glad to hear that you took the time to relax and unwind a little. Have a great day. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌊😴 P.S. Your explanations for the phrases were very good.

@Know-that
@Know-that 3 ай бұрын
@@bobsshortenglishlessons That could be possible, Bob. Sometimes it's strange with muscle soreness. Once it sets in (immediately) one day after you have done a lot and sometimes only two or three days later. Regardless of whether it's work you do regularly or just every now and then. But, yep, I also think it was simply the result of the amount of physical work you did in the days before. Good to hear that you're feeling better now and that your body has been able to recover. In such cases, do you take additional magnesium to support the recovery process? Thanks, Bob. Have a nice Friday. ☀️🌿🌳

Swimming is great for the long term but may have its effects on the short term. Get a gentle massage and heal! By the way, how it would be correct? With the preposition of on or for?

Thanks Bob for the lesson. It seems to me that you are slimmer and fitter .What have you done in the long- term to be so and also you mentioned that you walk about 17000 steps a day ,is not that too much and could cause a short -term sore . To me , I walk about 5000 steps a day . Bye.
