@@lucca4849 But our cultural background is the result of a heavy Moorish/Islamic influence that took place for over 500 years in Portugal. As Brazilians (or Latinos for that matter), when we learn Arabic, we sort of reconnect to this past link of our history. I find this simply amazing!

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! What about the word يَىُٔودُهُ in ayatul kursi. It doesn't seem to follow the rule??

Hi Saaz, as a short answer to your question, there are three types of Arabic writing.1st) Quranic "Otomen style". 2nd) Poetic. 3rd) Standard which adheres to the rules the scholars of Arabic gathered in their books. Quran is kept untouched to respect the way how the generation of Sahaba wrote it. In Arabic we write آمن In Quran it is written ءامن and so on and so forth.

What if Hamza in the middle doesn’t have ANY accent marking?? If it doesn’t have a visible marking, doesn’t that just count as Sukhoom?

Can someone please explain why he writes tanween on some of the letters but doesnt pronounce it? And why does he put a dammah on top of the daal in the ahmad word in the beginning but doesnt pronounce it?

Tanween is always written at the end of a word and when you stop at that word you can either pronounce the tanween or you put a 'Sukoon' on it and sukoon has no Harakat. I hope you understand

Thats tanween dhummatayn, it can be written as 2 dhummas facing one another, or with that sign given in the example.

Salam Adnan, شيئان is exempt from the master rule. the rule is that when you have the letter «يْ» followed by the letter «ء» with fatha and there is the letter «ا» or «ي» following the «ء» then the «ء» must be carried by «ي» such as فيئان - شيئان - طيئان there are other few exceptions as well which I am thinking to highlight in a separate video. I hope I answered your question
