Let me know how it works for you :) I also teach more complicated systems with numbers, elements, and such, and go as far as kabbalah and other mystical philosophies, but this use of the suit symbols is a great place to start and might even be all you need :)

I’ve always been so curious, intrigued and even can now say where my heart, spirit, & soul yearned for-divination and the mysticism what’s beyond this physical plane however the one major thing that I got in my head was learning tarot (rws specifically) and since it’s structured unlike oracle (which I started first) that in order to read tarot I needed to know and learn everything. I felt like I had to memorize each card otherwise it was almost “disrespect” but I realized that was just some noise that I shushed away which was trying to steer me away from divination.
