Very helpful, full guide. honestly getting beaten by good movement is rough but I'll try and get better with it

Absolutely, one of the GOATs. I wanted to keep the guide super short but if not definitely would have shouted him out. Thanks for watching!

I have to be doing something wrong because when you do Cooler's lvl3 oki, you're right on top of them as they get back up. I'm nowhere near that close when I do it

You can kinda buffer the input but it takes some practice. Try it in training a few times after the level 3 to get a feel for doing it as soon as possible. You might be surprised how fast you can input stuff after the super (try holding up just to get an idea of when to start doing the moonjump input) Also to my knowledge coolers will not work with a non macro moonjump, if you're inputting it manually

Great vid but my thing with moon jumps is that I always get scuffed by assist,ki blast,projectiles... trynna set em up I guess the solution would be the method 2 u proposed but I'm not good at doing that input at all

Likewise, I'm still struggling to implement it too but the key is getting the input to the point where you don't have to think about it. To avoid being scuffed, hide the button press entirely via iad back or back dash or while blocking, so you're never exposed. If you watch match replays from really good players, many are hiding the L/M this way actually!

@Wattski_fgc maybe I'm just not good at knowing when it's the good moment to do it cuz my button gets scuffed alot by ki blast and assists

@@Wattski_fgc like I'll do iad m and sum ki blast with hit me or I use my jumps and I come down with jl or m I always get hit 😭
@Wattski_fgc3 ай бұрын
Likewise 😭 takes some practice but try doing it as low as possible, usually you shouldn't be exposed then, and if you've used your jumps it's much riskier ofc

Idk jumping in any fighting game makes you vulnerable. Most people watch how many jumps you take before they call their projectiles. It is important to only moon jump on opponents who are rushing you down or trying to hard zone you. Never do it during scrambles or when you are too close to the opponent
