right; you mean 2.5D engraving. you could 3D print something, but engraving is .... well different. other than that, good technique and interesting.

Photoshop elements. It's a one time lite version of Photoshop. Works for what I do with it but I'll more than likely get the full version later.

Forgive me for asking but I don't understand why you layered bitmap and original ordered image. i tried to do exactly what you said. i was left with an empty outline and stacked images that were not grouped. I deselected original image output. I know I'm missing something, Thanks for any help!!!!
