I think it’s sad and kind’ve pathetic you have to do that. If it’s KZbin you are after, there’s really no point in targeting the creators or KZbin videos being made by separate individuals. How does disliking and posting stupid comments on this persons channel and other channels really affecting KZbin? Maybe I’ll understand better if that was answered.

I realized while watching this video that this is kind of how I’ve instinctively been learning new skills throughout my whole life. Like any time I learn a new instrument, my favorite way to go about it is to just pick a song and learn all the new chords and techniques for playing it. Then I get to add all those new skills to my repertoire and move onto the next one.

Hey I tried coding but it’s very difficult especially when the only teachers available for it at my university didn’t teach but only monitored the class and told us to Google everything. @py_a_thon

Python or C# are 2 really great languages to start with. Python particularly is very human readable, and C# is sort of an easier version of C++ I remember watching a youtube series of introductory c#. It was legit and covered all the basics. Fun language too. Machine learning, .NET, a bunch of other cool stuff, and the Unity3D game engine uses c# scripting to interface with the api. UnrealEngine uses C++ and a visual scripting tool (blueprints)
@py_a_thon
@py_a_thon 3 жыл бұрын
@Keaton Castillo After the introductory level(or brute force learning intermediate level), it seems that learning proper technique and unlearning bad habits is the next major hurdle. Those bad habits are crazy unpredictable if you ever work in any kind of group project, or offer code to the world as a product or an open source-ish repo. And 100% absolutely yes regarding what you hinted upon...that is the point where classes with really good mentors/teachers...jump up in value. Code was always just an obsessive hobby for me though. So I am only providing context and vague suggestions for the path I did not travel. I never had hopes of being an entrepeneur or finding a career. I am just another bored nerd.

@@georgefloyd883 lol it’s you who wants to be the victim, but you can’t, because you and everyone else knows you’re the real oppressor. You don’t believe me?😂 thousands of racist flooded the comment sections and dislike buttons on every video on this playlist. Calling these black women the n word and animals. You thought my comment was offensive because I was saying a black woman was inspirational. You hate to see black people getting praised. Are you jealous? You hide behind a black murdered man’s identity. Obsessed? Or maybe you don’t want to believe black people go through racism because you feel guilty? So you try to find every little reason to hate us to justify your racism..? But no, I’m not Arab. I’m a Muslim.

@@georgefloyd883 since when was speaking the truth complaining? Be careful around your klan family members. You’re only 60% white. They can decide if you’re not white enough at any minute🤭. What’s so sad is that the other 40% of you want to be excepted amongst white ppl. You hate that 40% of whatever you’re mixed with. But anyway, ✌🏽

@@Isaac-hr8ug You know trying to insult me is only wasting your time right? I don’t get offended easily. Why did you think I’ll be hurt by that comment?😂. You saying my ancestors didn’t do anything is almost like you trying to convince me Santa Claus is real. But we all know the truth. Many of you don’t like the truth so you deny it. Denying it and filling your hearts with rage. What you can do is take the anger and hate you’re feeling and leave. I never asked YOU what you thought of my ancestors and how irrelevant I was😂. You need God💔. I wouldn’t claim history if It’s not my history.

One of the biggest problems I faced as being a self taught programmer was what to program. This approach is a curse in disguise as it leads to a top down approach to developing applications. For example, I need a program that does something when a button is clicked so I start by putting a button on the screen, going to the code behind and make it do something. Gratifying as it may be, we end up discarding core principals and fundamentals of application development. I'm not against this approach but after you get your feet wet, please dive into solution/project design (Righting Software is a good book) as well as behavioral patterns; strategy pattern and visitor pattern are going to be the most useful for day to day business application.

I think this applies to anything. If you don't learn with some sort of context then you will never retain any information and even if you do, you won't really know how to use any of that information.

Design Thinking and Rapid Prototyping(in the context of CompSci, and not AutoCad) might pair well with the concept of project based learning too. For example: game jams or similar 24/hr or 1 weekend type challenges are fun, ProjectEuler is epic in terms of math puzzles and learning, etc. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_thinking projecteuler.net/

Hey Nicole; Awesome motivational vid! I just want to ask - where should a beginner start if they want to make an application? I remember trying to program a simple hello world windows application in C and getting totally lost and unable to compile things. So many headers and concpets that are difficult to ask questions about. What would you consider to be level zero for someone looking to build a project from scratch?

Hey! I would definitely suggest Codecademy's lessons on HTML + CSS - then Some of the basic JS courses. They are free and so informative/easy to understand. C is definitely a very difficult language I personally think you would have a better experience with JS because it is more user friendly

There may have been some troll redirection going on here...just sayin' Trolls have been known to partially disable REAL hate by being fucking offensive on purpose. And I definitely saw a bunch of that going on. Basically...they look so stupid on purpose, that actual racists feel shame and self-reflect. And also, they get to bitch about leftism and censorship. And yeah, some actual and real racism was all on these comments too. Absolutely.
