I listened to this song on repeat the day after my dad passed away. I don't know why, but it was liberating. I was surrounded by nothing but pain and heartbreak, and this song made me feel like I was flying, free from the prison of grief I was stuck in. Music is the best cure for a broken heart.

If there's one person you gotta respect in the rock community, it's Dave Grohl. After Nirvana ended he not only survived in the community, but thrived. Foo Fighters is great. And it's his own sound, he did it on his own without riding on the success of Nirvana.
@BarCooler8610 жыл бұрын
If it was not for the success of Nirvana, why are you mentioning Nirvana? Why is everyone comparing the two bands or people. We all thrive and learn from each other and it's what leaders are made of. If you look at Dave's musical roots you'll see why he is where is.

Run and tell all of the angels This could take all night Think I need a devil to help me get things right Hook me up a new revolution Cause this one is a lie We sat around laughing and watched the last one die I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to fly high I think I'm done nursing the patience It can wait one night I'd give it all away if you give me one last try We live happily ever trapped if you just save my life Run and tell the angels that everything is alright I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for a complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to fly high Make my way back home when I learn to Fly along with me, I can't quite make it alone Try and make this life my own Fly along with me, I cant quite make it alone Try to make this life my own I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for a complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for a complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to fly high Make my way back home when I learn to fly Make my way back home when I learn to, learn to, learn to

This song is still a good tune. I haven't heard any other song from this band but this is my favorite song from the Foo Fighters.
