I'm confused too. When it comes to row 14 the pattern says do the first 4 loops smaller and the second four loops larger. The video says first four a larger and second four are smaller. Which is correct?

Sorry for the confusion, but they are both right. I should have specified better. When working with the Left side panel, you will have the first 4 loops bigger because that is the side of the neckline. The 4 smaller loops are for the seam. When doing the RIGHT panel, the first 4 loops will be smaller (seam) and the next 4 loops will be bigger (neck line). Does that make it clearer? Please let me know.

Love love loveee this! I’m going to be making on but very long. For the back piece did you do it the same way you did the side panels? You made the chains but on the second row you skipped the first loop?

How do you measure to get the size you need?

Thanks for ordering. Much appreciated . Sorry you are having trouble with sizing. For width, you will measure your chest area (pg 6) to determine if you are small, medium or large, etc. For length, as per the pattern (pg 7), you will measure from your shoulder to however long you want your jacket.
