Thank you for this it’s very confusing when different reverbs have different names for the same parameters. The parts that confuses me is the early reflections, some reverbs don’t have an early reflections parameter. So apart from that am I correct in thinking the decay (reverb time as it’s known in some reverbs) the early reflections parameter?

It can definitely be a bit convoluted sometimes. Early reflections are the very first part of a reverb you hear. In a way, they are the opposite of the decay. Since the early reflections are the very first part of a reverb that hits your ears, they actually contain a lot of helpful data (such as the size and shape of a room). This makes early reflections especially useful for defining a space. Please let me know if this explanation is helpful at all of if you have any more questions.
