If you drift inside depends fully on your teams tactic, with inverted fullbacks you NEED to stay wide
@footballfundamentalАй бұрын
Yes but the winger’s movement needs to determine the runs of fullbacks not other way around. As a coach It is too risky to play your fullbacks inverted UNLESS you are playing 3 in the back and they are actually wingback rather than fullback. Because fullback must recover when defending and you can rely on them that they will but you can’t always rely on your winger to defend

I didn't Underwood what are the inverted runs and when to make it, can you tell me more specifically?
@footballfundamental5 ай бұрын
When your fullback overlaps make inverted runs (central runs) to allow your fullback to wide to have additional wide attacking option.
