Just do it! I started by always watching one time all the way through so I know whats coming, or I seem to go rouge and ruin things. I also now paint in a mixed media journal, 140lb paper, sometimes I gesso, sometimes not. I then paint once and if I love it or want to give someone the painting I then paint it on a canvas board or a regular canvas. Really just have fun and try things out. I see my progress from when I began. I'm really enjoying Michelle's painting and teaching style, also her selection of paintings. Godspeed

I love it. If you had to pick a few brushes only which ones would you choose. I bought some cheep brushes long time ago from Walmart. But the bristles come out in what ever I’m painting. So I really need a few good ones. I noticed on your list you have to pick numbers. Just have no idea which. ;)
