turner would work wet on wet on 10 pieces of paper at the same time, being far more gestural and not afraid to mix and match using other materials like oil, hence his approach to oil painting was the same

Interesting. I’ve always loved his loose style and I assume he was the Van Gogh of his day. Didn’t know about him using mixed media! I’ll read up. Thanks
