Purely for aesthetics, I would combine the "help a mate up" and "pat down a fallen enemy" into a single action called "loot" so you've got the trifecta of scoot, shoot, or loot. It also makes it funnier because now as part of helping your friends up you also nick their stuff while they're down.

You could also implement something like orks have to stand on their bottle caps to make them less stable the more loot they have individually.

Cheers! I tried a totally different 'staged' set up for this video and it's loads better. "Camera B" (the overhead one) is a bit dodgy quality, but it's in the right direction. I have a clip on mic to try out next, as there are still bits is this video where you can hear my distance from the mic change as I move around.

It's late on a Friday night, and I am 2 out of 4 for being a drunk ass space Ork. Can confirm that this is a great way to get non gamers to try out a minis game. Just played a round with 4 players (ages 9 to old enough to know better) and fun was had by all. This game has made something in me snap, in a good way.

Some really fun mechanics here. I only think that some of it might be a bit physically fiddly, which I get is the point but might take away from the fun for me personally. Would need to try it to see, interesting stuff and really thematic though.

Yeah, finding the right balance (arf!) of not too fiddly but definitely about dexterity is going to be one of the things that will need love.

That’s a great question and one I hope more playtesting will flush out. In my games, things have stayed mobile enough or close enough range, but for different players playing differently it may turn out to be an issue. Interesting to see.

It's summit different, innit. Rolling the dice to get your dudes to go where you want to is actually crazy enjoyable. I have been having a blast playtesting this with my 5 year old, and it levels the skill gap! :D

All three at the moment, so you have to stagger back and forth somewhat out of control of the player.
